Is Plusnet Unlimited Broadband Fast Enough for Watching 4K?
If you plan to watch 4K video on your smart TV or other 4K device you won’t be able to use Plusnet Unlimited broadband as it is too slow. For example, Netflix recommends a minimum download speed of 15 Mbps for watching its 4K service on Netflix Premium.
YouTube Premium offers a 4K service for its platform with a minimum download speed requirement of 20 Mbps. If you plan to watch live events such as Premier League Football you will need at least 30 Mbps for watching live sports on the BT Sport 4K channel.
