This gives you an idea of how much time you would save downloading & uploading different sizes of files such as games and media.
We found Trustpilot UK offers very accurate ratings and offers smaller internet providers a chance to offer better localised customer service. like Lit Fibre which is 4.8/5 on Trustpilot UK. Other providers include 4.7/5 for Gigaclear, 4.5/5 for Hyperoptic, 4.5/5 for Vodafone, and 4.2/5 for BeFibre.
You will also notice I don’t have ANY SPONSORED LINKS as I want you to find the best available provider in your area without any bias. That is exactly why Ben created this very unique Download & Upload Speed Calculator so customers can see how much download and upload speeds their devices use.
Part of the formula is based on the fact that Netflix strongly recommends a minimum 15 Mbps for watching 4K or Ultra HD shows. Another part of Ben’s research also found that YouTube recommends a minimum download speed of 20 Mbps for watching 4K & UHD.
The calculator estimates the total download and upload speeds being used by all of your devices in your household. If the calculator estimates 300 Mbps or less, it is strongly recommended to see if Lit Fibre, Gigaclear, Hyperoptic, or BeFibre, is available in your area.
